Oasi Zegna

Oasi Zegna is the cradle of ZEGNA’s values.
A nature lover deeply rooted in his native land, ZEGNA founder Ermenegildo Zegna planted the first tree in the area surrounding his wool mill in 1929, sparking a spirit of sustainability and a reforestation project that today comprises over 500,000 trees. His vision for the future has been nurtured from generation to generation, working in harmony with nature to protect and preserve the lush, 100 km² ecosystem that is Oasi Zegna.

In the 1930s, ZEGNA’s visionary founder built the "Road to Tomorrow" Route 232. Stretching 26 km to connect Oasi Zegna with local communities, it fostered a positive relationship with the environment. This road serves as ZEGNA’s inspiration for the present and the future, guiding every action the brand takes. The natural territory spans approximately 100 km² within the Biella Alps in Northern Italy.

Oasi Zegna is not only a unique model of social and environmental consciousness but also - more broadly - a set of values ​​that ultimately promote coherence and harmony between humanity and the environment.

Casa Zegna, part of Fondazione Zegna, is a historical archive and cultural centre in Trivero, in the province of Biella. Inside Lanificio Zegna, in a 1930s building that was once the family home, an exhibition space has been created to preserve and share the history, values and vision of the Zegna family.
Documents, photographs, fabrics and objects recount more than a century of entrepreneurship, textile innovation and commitment to the local area.
