There is a kind of summer that never needs to raise its voice. It begins with an early morning swim in the lake, unfolds through slow afternoons aboard a wooden motorboat, and lingers into evenings bathed in golden light. This is the summer portrayed in ZEGNA IN SUMMER, the brand’s latest campaign set along the Piedmont shores of Lake Maggiore - a cherished corner of Northern Italy for the Zegna family, where palm trees and camellias flourish beside the mountains and life flows at a pace that is both relaxed and vibr
An Ode to the Italian Summer
The campaign stars Global Ambassador Mads Mikkelsen, cruising across the lake aboard his family’s 1973 Riva Aquarama. The choice is far from incidental. Riva is an icon of Italian boating, and its founder, Carlo Riva, believed that beauty should guide every project. It is a philosophy that resonates deeply with ZEGNA, where beauty, craftsmanship, and functionality have existed in perfect balance for more than a century, since 1910. For ZEGNA, summer is the season of calm and simplicity - a way of living that never needs to be displayed. Everything is designed to breathe: the fabrics, the light, and every movement.
Oasi Lino: Breathable Lightness
At the heart of the collection is Oasi Lino, ZEGNA’s 100% traceable linen, reflecting the brand’s commitment to more responsible materials. It takes its name from Oasi Zegna, the 100-square-kilometre natural area surrounding the historic Zegna Wool Mill in the Biella Alps. Refined fabrics, supple leather, and relaxed tailoring come together in garments designed for effortless wear. They express the pleasure of living well through how clothing feels rather than how loudly it is seen.
The Key Pieces for Summer
A ribbed cotton knit designed to be worn next to the skin. Military-green shorts with clean, essential lines. Suede loafers designed to be worn barefoot. And Oasi Lino shirts that transition effortlessly from daytime to evening. These are the essential pieces of a wardrobe defined by restraint, where every garment is designed to move naturally with both the body and the season.
